Everyone always asks about the equipment we use while cleaning houses. We travel with our own steam mop and vacuums.
The steam mop is made by Thane, Inc. and it's called the H20 Mop. We also use a Shark steam mop. Both are very good, but the Thane, in addition to working as a all-surface steam cleaner (albeit awkwardly- I wouldn't recommend it for this alone), also has different settings, from very very low steam (which is a very dry vapor, so dries nearly instantaneouly) to a hot water stream. These are very good steam mops and a lot of people have actually called us back just to do their tile floors again! The difference in the feeling of bare feet on the floor is that amazing. But the steam surging on the Shark is a lot more forgiving, as it only emits steam when pushed back and forth. The H20 needs to be turned off and cannot set for too long on the floor. It is also a bit larger than the Shark, so can be clumsy. Shark also makes a bigger steam mop.
The vacuum that we use on hard floors is the Shark Lift-Around pod vacuum. It comes with option of a couple of different attachments, most notably the blind cleaning attachment, which is hard to find, but most people will see the good of at first glimpse, and the hard floor cleaning attachment which is included. I would recommend the Lift-Around for anyone with a lot of hard floors, and especially for more than 50% hard floors and pets. It's NOT one of those vacuums that do a mediocre job of vacuuming the floor until the real cleaning day. It is the real cleaning!
We use Shark vacuums because they are light, so travel pretty easily, and for their power, which we need to be able to amaze people with our results! :) They are also very affordable and very durable.

If you are booking your appointment online for a Groupon you are redeeming, you may get an 'invalid code' message if you just bought the Groupon. Because of the length of the feature, we have to update our list of buyers and voucher codes several times a day, so if you get this message, you can try again later or present the voucher to us when we arrive for your appointment. Yes! Atreides Services can clean your office or business if it is below 10,000 square feet and requires after-business hours cleaning. Email or call/text (352) 414-9247 with questions or to make an appointment for walk-through.
Tiered services are more like a full housekeeping schedule for our residential clients. When you get an estimate for regular cleaning, you will get a price for regular cleaning, and also for upkeep cleaning and project rate for special tasks, events, and anything excluded from your regular cleaning schedule.
As of now, we don't have any senior or veteran discounts on cleaning services, but that may change in the future. If you are interested in ongoing services or just hearing about our specials, you may sign up to receive them (and receive a special offer for signing up!) here. We won't send more than 3 emails per month and we respect your privacy and information.

- Pick the type of cleaning
Obviously, if you are a new client, you aren't a regular client... yet! Most regular-sized houses will be scheduled as a 2- or a 3-hour appointment with 2 people. If you live in a house or rental that is under 1000 square feet, you would schedule an Apartment or House Cleaning with 1 or 2 people. For move-out cleanings, we only offer 4 hour/2 person appointments online without either a phone or email consultation. If you can't pick an appointment, don't worry- these are just the most common appointment types. Please email or text/phone (352) 414-9247 and we will help you.
The calendar will show blank (grayed out) if we have no availability on the day you selected. Once you selected a day, the times that we have available will be listed to the right.

Don't be shy about leaving us directions- noone goes to your house more than you, so it definitely helps someone who has never been there before!

We are not certified 'green', but are for the most part, 'non-toxic' and we take great care and pride in using non-irritant chemicals. If we do use a specialty cleaner that is an irritant, we will check with our clients first.
